Knowledge Equity, 2020

An online event held on 10th Sept to discuss accountability & inclusion in research and higher education. Led by Dr. Addy Adelaine, CEO of Ladders4Action. Joined by Panelist Dr. Hannah Robbins, Dr. Jason Arday, Dr. Arun Verma and Dr. Erinma Ochu.
The discussion was prompted by recent events at UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and an open letter written by 10 Black women engaged in research.

As UKRI is the largest research funding organistion in the United Kingdom, with a combined budget of more than £8 billion, we discuss their potential role in creating change and how allies and activists can work together to stimulate change.

This recording has been made in good faith, the individuals involved were speaking live and tied to discuss everything that has happened fairly and accurately. If you have any concerns please email us.

The views given represent that of the individuals speaking, in accordance with their personal beliefs and best recollection. The views of individuals, do not represent the organisations that they might work for.
