Ladders4Action is a non-profit organisation that aims to connect knowledge and action in practical, ethical and inclusive ways.
We provide organisations and individuals with training, courses, events, research, mentoring, inclusive content production and advice on complex / sensitive social issues. Our paid commissions support our extensive pro-bono activities.
With specialists in race, gender, sexuality, disability, class & various other aspects of identity, our team has both lived experience & expertise of the issues we work on
We value people: everyone who works for Ladders4Action is paid at least a living wage
We believe in sharing knowledge: We aim to share the knowledge we create in free publications & will always offer free places in our trainings for those who can’t afford to pay
We centre lived-experience: Our staff all have lived experience of the issues they specialise in
We believe in putting people before profit: Ladders4Action is a non-profit organisation. Our commissioned work pays for pro-bono activities, free events and advocacy
Our Work is Practical Ethical Inclusive
We care for the planet: In accordance with our environmental policy we aim to reduce any detrimental impact we might have on the natural world.
We are trans-inclusive: Ladders4Action is unapologetically trans-inclusive. As such, we respect the right of all individuals to define their identity in the manner they choose.
We are practical: All our work is centred upon creating change in the real-world. We do actively try to move away from armchair philosophy
We are reflexive: Ladders4Action regularly reflects upon our own work and practices to ensure we are practical, ethical and inclusive in everything we do
